ABOUT LEADER’S EDGE

Our History:

In 2004, Dwight Mason was challenged to leverage his influence to offer simple, practical leadership talks to business leaders. Over time, the area of influence spread to encompass all people in the communities of Northeast Ohio, and the platform chosen was a 501(c)(3) organization now known as The Leader’s Edge, Inc.

Our Vision:

Mobilizing leaders who mobilize other leaders to transform their world. We identify leaders from all arenas – business, education, church, and community. Together we assist in launching regional transformational initiatives, without caring who gets the credit.

Our Mission:

Our primary focus is to develop, equip and challenge leaders to leverage their influence to change their world. We are committed to personal and cultural transformation making better leaders, to make a better world.

Our Values:

Influence, Inspire, Impact
Leveraging your influence, to inspire others, to make a great impact.

Our Belief:

Better leaders, better world

THE LEADER’S EDGE INITIATIVES

Leader’s Edge is not defined by our initiatives – our initiatives are an extension of our process in creating better leaders, to make a better world.

Schools

We have partnered with Anti-Virus Youth Education, a character education and development program specifically designed for students. This character program is held during the school day, and the curriculum focuses on seven main character traits: ambition, responsibility, hard work, emotions, restraint, common sense, and generosity.

Business

We provide strategic leadership development through The Edge, RoundTables, Conferences, and Retreats (marriage, life plan, spiritual)

Churches

We provide leadership conferences for church leaders. We are always pointing to a next step – ultimately challenging leaders to leverage their influence to change their world.

Community

We believe that every person is a leader, as everyone has a sphere of influence. In the local community we promote RoundTables. A RoundTable is a facilitated conversation about a specific principle that leads to self-discovery and personal action steps for growth. RoundTables are a tool to foster self-discovery, personal growth.

The day you stop learning is the day you stop leading. The first commitment of an effective leader is to personal ongoing growth. The Leader’s Edge is a practical and valuable resource for you, your team, and organization for continual development of your personhood, as well as the skills you will need to meet the challenge of tomorrow as a leader.
